About the Author:
Rees Nielsen farmed grapes and stonefruit for 30 plus years in Calfornia’s San Joaquin Valley, a couple miles south west of Selma. One day his wife, Riina, commisioned him to paint something to put on their walls, as she preferred original art to prints. He has been painting ever since and has exhibited several times in the Fresno area. He now lives in Indianola, Iowa a half mile from his grandchildren, Marshall and Adelaide Taylor.
